East Peoria, Ill.--Gian Luca Fink scored the only goal of the game on a free kick to lift the #13 ICC men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Indian Hills on Tuesday night at CougarPlex Field.  The Cougars' offense generated 19 total shots and eight shots on goal compared to the Warriors' five shots and three on goal.  Khalil Oliver had three saves for ICC, now 14-2-1.

"We were solid defensively for another shutout," said head coach Oz Bakirdan.  "We're happy to have momentum heading into the region tournament."

Next up:  The Cougars will start Region 24 tournament play on Sunday, October 24 against Lincoln Trail at 6:30 pm at CougarPlex Field.
