East Peoria, Ill.-- The ICC men's basketball team could not overcome a slow first half start as they lost to Rend Lake 87-66 on Saturday at Ramsey Gymnasium.  The visiting Warriors jumped out to a 15-5 lead just four minutes into the game and never looked back, stretching the lead to a 48-28 advantage at the half. 

On the bright side, ICC played nearly even with RLC in the second half (39-38) but the Warrior lead was too large to cut into for a comeback.  The Warriors were hot from the field, hitting on 52% of their shots, while ICC hit on 39% (24-61).
