Oglesby, IL-- The ICC men's basketball team used a strong second half to win their second game of the young season, an 87-80 victory over Illinois Valley CC on Saturday afternoon in Oglesby.  The Cougars trailed 44-40 at halftime but started the second half on a 12-3 run to take a 52-47 lead.  The Cougars extended their advantage to as many as twelve, but the Eagles (0-2) kept fighting and cut the ICC lead back down to six points.  ICC closed the game out with free throws to get the win.  

In addition to this being the team's second win (2-0), it was also the team's second straight game with four double digit scorers.
