East Peoria, Ill. - The stars were aligning as the #9 ICC women's volleyball team (6-3) was back in Ramsey Gym for the official home opener to the 2021 fall schedule: the concession stand was open for the first time since the pandemic & a frequent opponent in the Carl Sandburg Chargers (4-3) stood in their way.

Other than a brief comeback effort by the Chargers late, this one was all Cougars, as ICC rolled to their fifth consecutive win via sweep, 3-0. The scores were 25-16, 25-11, and 25-18.
