Decatur, Ill. - ICC Volleyball (15-9) kicked off their 'road trip' of five consecutive matches with a drive down to Millikin University's JV team in Decatur on Wednesday night.
The Cougars were able to make fairly quick work of the Big Blue, collecting set wins of six, 10, and two points.
Of note, in ICC's 24th match and 15th win, ICC won via a sweep for the 13th time in the fall 2021 season, and second straight time. Earlier this season, the Cougars had a run of 10 straight wins by the sweep.
The
Brooke Ely /
Lacy Pilgrim duo led the charge once again with 36 assists. ICC had three into double figures in digs, with
Hope Allen,
Brynn Rossman, and
Hannah Alvey making up the leaderboard.
ICC will have a day off before a drive down to Belleville for a tri-match with hosts Southwestern Illinois and the JV team from Missouri Baptist University.
