GODFREY----Moustapha Toure had a goal and assist to help the #18 ICC men's soccer team upend #11 Eastern Florida State College 2-0 on Friday afternoon in Godfrey, IL.  Toure got an assist from Logan Cupi to score the Cougars' first goal and then Toure passed to Onwell Moyo for the second score to give ICC a cushion and get the win.  Mason Meents, a lanky 6'6 freshman who also plays on the ICC men's basketball team, started at keeper and helped record the shutout.  

"We were organized well in the back defensively and worked hard as a team for 90 minutes," head coach Oz Bakirdan said following the game.  "Mason Meents got his first start of the season in goal with the shut out.  Everyone worked hard to defend as a team and get up into the attack as a team.  Solid team win."  

Next up:  The Cougars, now 5-0-1 play next on Wed, Sept. 8 at Lincoln College JV in Lincoln, IL at 4pm.
