Quincy, IL-- The ICC men's basketball team dropped an 86-74 decision to John Wood in Region 24 and M-WAC action in Quincy on Wednesday night.  Despite it being the Cougars' first action in eleven days, they shot well in the first half, going 17-37 for 46% (including 5 of 12 from three-point range) and trailed just 45-41 at the break.

However, the Cougars cooled off in the second half, going 12-36 from the field which allowed JW to take control. 

ICC forced the Blazers into 21 turnovers, scoring 18 points off of them, but the hosts made up for it with hot shooting from three-point range, going 14-25 from distance.  John Wood also went 12-19 from the charity stripe, while ICC went 6-15.  The Cougars went 10-24 from three-point land (42%) but shot 29-73 overall for the field on the night for 40%. 

Tony Mabon, Jr. led the Cougars with 16 points, including a 4-6 effort from the three point line.
