Mattoon, Ill. - A tough loss became wanting to turn the page for the 10th-ranked ICC Volleyball program (22-10), as the Cougars made the trek south all of 24 hours later to take on the Lake Land Lakers (15-9) on Friday night. After winning the first two sets by margins of two and three points, securing a 2-0 set lead, Lake Land would take the following two sets, including the match's largest point spread (25-20 Lakers in the third). Lake Land fought all the way to match point in the fifth and final set, but the Cougars had one last push in them, forcing the tie, and eventually securing the win. The usual information is below.
