East Peoria, Ill. - The weather was cold but the Illinois Central College men's soccer team was hot as they tallied four goals to shut out Southwestern Illinois College 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. Four different Cougars scored to help the team to their 10th win of the season.
Zac Le Stavri, Antoni Plomer,
Luca Saewe, and
Jesus Perez each had goals while Plomer, Perez and
Carlos Lobo all had assists.
Next up: The men (10-6) will be back in action on Thursday, October 13 at Illinois Wesleyan University JV in a 7pm game in Bloomington.
Region 24 Tournament Information: ICC will be the #2 seed for the tournament and will host the Region 24 tournament semi-final on Saturday October 22
nd at 6pm. If the Cougars win the semi-final they would advance to the championship game at Lewis & Clark, with the date and time TBA.
