Mattoon, Ill. - On Wednesday evening, the ICC men's basketball program (0-2) lost to the Lake Land Lakers 103-69. 

The game started off close with both teams trading baskets but after some costly turnovers by the Cougars, the Lakers were able to gain a substantial 51-27 lead at halftime. 

ICC came out hot in the second half hitting seven of their first nine shots to cut into the deficit, but Lake Land was able to match that hot streak with one of their own.

On the night, the Lakers shot 61% from the field while ICC shot 53% from the field.
