Ina, Ill. - The drive to Rend Lake may not be the easiest on the schedule for the ICC men's basketball program (0-1), but the game itself usually presents a quality challenge, and this year, right out of the gate no less. 

It was a close game within the first ten minutes, but the host Warriors found their rhythm in the latter moments of the first half on route to a 39-24 halftime lead. 

The Cougars were able to slash that lead in half out of the locker room, cutting it to eight points in the waning moments of the game. When it came to crunch time, ICC was behind and needed to foul. Rend Lake was able to mostly capitalize on the free opportunities and the Cougars fell just short by an 81-75 score.
