East Peoria, Ill. - They came, they saw, they conquered. #9 ICC volleyball (28-10, 10-1) had a critical home match to conclude region play. On the other side of the net was Lincoln Land (19-8, 6-3), a team that, despite limited personnel, had still put themselves in the position for Wednesday night's match to potentially host the District Tournament should they defeat ICC. Alas, the Cougars rolled to a three-set victory, winning each set by 10+ points, 25-15, 25-10, 25-12. It locks up ICC into the "2 seed" of the region, and the ability to host the District Tournament in November.
