Cedar Rapids, IA - There are cliches, and then there are cliches that make sense or can actually be used. One as such can be that all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately, the season came to an end for the seventh-ranked ICC Volleyball team (33-12) on Friday night, when they fell in the NJCAA Third Place Quarterfinal to #4 Johnson County, 3-0. The Cougars won the District Tournament, entered Nationals on an 11-match win streak, went an impressive (13-1) at home, six Top-20 victories, and four all-region selections. That's just scratching the surface of all that was accomplished by the Cougars in 2023.
The Illinois Central College Athletic Department would like to thank the ICC Volleyball team for all the fantastic memories that they gave us this fall.
