East Peoria, Ill. - Going back to September 16th, the 17th-ranked ICC Volleyball team (16-8, 4-0) dropped their first home match of the season in five sets to Hawkeye. After that match, however, was a stretch of four of the next five matches also being at home. The end of that stretch was Monday night, with the Cougars welcoming Spoon River in their fourth in-region match of the season. It was a great night, with it also being the Mental Health Awareness Match and the Academic Honors Night. Couple all that together with a 3-0 sweep of the Snappers and it becomes a now five-match win streak and an (8-1) record in their last nine matches.
