Springfield, IL - The 13th-ranked Illinois Central College Volleyball team (23-10, 6-1) controls their own destiny when it comes to postseason hosting. In a second-place tie in the Region 24 standings with the #6 Heartland Hawks, two matches remained on the schedule to secure a District "Central B" hosting bid - Wednesday's match at the Lincoln Land Loggers, and the following Wednesday's match at the aforementioned Hawks. This Wednesday, the Cougars went down to Springfield's Cass Gym and left with a 3-0 sweep of the Loggers, setting up a match against the Hawks that becomes a must-win for whomever wants to host their half of the District Tournament.
