Champaign, IL - The 15th-ranked Illinois Central College Volleyball Team (28-13) made their way down Interstate-74 to partake in the Parkland Invitational at the Cobras' Dodds Athletic Complex on Friday and Saturday. While the Cobras were not the opposition, it was still a very competitive field, with #9 Sauk Valley, #11 McHenry County, #20 Rock Valley, and despite the lack of a ranking, a quality Carl Sandburg program. All that being said, the Cougars played quite well, in fact, nearly running the table, as they would defeat McHenry County, fall to Rock Valley in a thriller, then sweep day two with a win over Carl Sandburg and capping it all off with a Top-10 victory over #9 Sauk Valley.
