East Peoria, IL - History was made at Lorene Ramsey Gym on Wednesday night. The Illinois Central College men's basketball team (2-4) was playing host to the Black Hawk Braves in an out-of-region mid-week game. No, that's not the history. The program's career wins record, once held by ICC Hall-of-Famer Caroll Herman, fell on Wednesday, as Coach Tony Wysinger's crew held on against the Braves in a thrilling 75-71 victory, the 382nd of Wysinger's ICC career.

"The biggest thing is the players. We got former players that are on the staff. Former players that came here to watch the game. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have that record. I give them a lot of credit for what they have done to help us get to this particular point. So yeah, it's definitely a big thing, but it's all about the players."
