Quincy, Ill. - The #17 Illinois Central College team got back on the winning track as they defeated John Wood 25-22, 25-8, 20-25, and 25-13 in Region 24 action on Tuesday evening. 

The Cougars had a well-rounded attack, led by Bella Gregory's 10 kills and 10 assists each from Ellie Dallas and Allison de Freese. With the win, the Cougars improved to 17-10 overall and 5-2 in Region 24. JWCC fell to 7-23.

The team will now head to the Sunshine State where they will play in the prestigious Pensacola Premier Invitational. Coach Tracy Heffren's squad will play three ranked teams while there, including the #8 host Pensacola State and #6 Gulf Coast State.
