Ottumwa, IA - The #11 Illinois Central College men's soccer team tied with #10 Indian Hills with a 1-1 score on Tuesday at the IHCC Soccer Complex.

The Cougars' record is now 9-3-4 and was their 7th game against a ranked team this season. ICC currently has two wins, two losses, and three ties against ranked opponents. IHCC's record is 7-3-4.

The Cougars scored quickly in the 4th minute on a goal by Nils Fechner (assist Alec Benny) for a 1-0 lead. IHCC answered in the 9th minute on a penalty kick to tie the game at 1-1.

Neither team was able to score the remainder of the game for the final margin.

Goalkeeper Milo Paci had seven saves on the afternoon.

The Cougars have one more regular season contest as they host Truman on Saturday. They will begin Region 24 Tournament play on Tuesday, October 28 when they host Southwestern Illinois at 1pm at Eastside Centre.
