Godfrey, Ill. - The #5 Illinois Central College men's soccer team was upended by #10 Lewis & Clark on Tuesday evening, falling 2-1 at Glazebrook Park.
It was only the second loss of the season for the Cougars, who now have a 7-2-3 overall record. Lewis & Clark moved to 8-3-1.
LCCC scored in the 5th minute for a 1-0 lead. ICC then got on the board on a penalty kick at the 10th minute as
Alec Benny got fouled in the box;
Nathan Le Roux converted the goal for a 1-1 score.
The game remained tied until the 75th minute when the host Trailblazers scored to take back the lead.
The Cougars will play at Lincoln Trail on Saturday.
