Malta, IL - The Illinois Central College men's basketball team extended their undefeated streak on Tuesday when they won against Kishwaukee College 72-57. This win gives the Cougars a 5-0 overall record.
ICC went on a 12-0 run to start the game and didn't look back. The Cougars led the entire way, from tip-off to the final buzzer.
Jaylen Brown hit a three-pointer as time expired to end the half, giving ICC a 37-20 lead over Kishwaukee.
Kishwaukee didn't back down as they came out of the half with a 14-2 run to cut the lead to 39-34. But that was the closest they got. The Cougars rallied and went on an 8-0 run to regain a comfortable lead that they did not let go of until the final score read 72-57.
The Cougars will head to Arkansas on Friday to play in the Pioneer Classic this weekend.
