Council Bluffs, IA - The #11 Illinois Central College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker to #10 Indian Hills, losing 2-1 in overtime in the Midwest Tournament on Thursday. The teams ended regulation in a 1-1 tie but the Warriors scored with under three minutes to play in OT to advance to the championship game. The Cougars will await and hope for an at-large bid, as they will be announced on Tuesday.

Indian Hills took a 1-0 lead at the 43rd minute. Nils Fechner countered with a goal off of a rebound from a saved penalty kick. IHCC hit their goal in the 98th minute.

In the second semi-final, #2 Iowa Western defeated Truman 4-1. Indian Hills and Iowa Western will play Saturday at 1pm for the automatic bid to Nationals on Nov. 16-22 in Daytona, FL.
