Rockford, IL - The eighth-ranked Illinois Central College volleyball team took the court for official match action for the first time this weekend, playing two matches Friday and two Saturday at the UW Health Sports Complex in Rockford. The Cougars won matches over Monroe and a thrilling five-set win over Palm Beach State but fell to North Iowa Area and Northeastern Oklahoma A & M. The Cougars are 2-2 on the young season.
