Godfrey, Ill. - The Illinois Central College men's soccer team went toe-to-toe with #8 Miami Dade, playing to a 2-2 tie on Saturday at Glazebrook Park.
The Finns (1-1-2) scored their first goal in the 17th minute to grab an early lead. Both defenses stayed strong the rest of the half as MDCC held a 1-0 lead at intermission.
Nathan Le Roux scored off a counter attack on an assist by
Pierrot Mourton in the 63rd minute for a 1-all tie. The Cougars struck again minutes later on another goal by Le Roux in the 70th minute, courtesy of an Alessandro Campos assist.
Miami Dade got their tying goal in the 76th minute for the final 2-2 score.
Goalkeeper
Milo Paci had a total of seven saves for ICC.
