Canton, IL - The #10 Illinois Central College women's basketball team picked up a 92-39 win at Spoon River to get back on track on Wednesday evening in Region 24 action. All Cougars scored in the contest as ICC dominated on the boards, moving their record to 15-3 overall and 2-2 in Region 24.
ICC raced out to a 25-2 first quarter lead behind strong defense and teamwork on the offensive end by dishing out 11 assists on their first 12 baskets.

Maziah Shelton all had two baskets apiece while
Hannah West nailed a trey and
Piper Whiteman had a jumper. Assists came courtesy of Heider (3),
Ellie VanMeenen (3), Whiteman (2), Shelton, Emilyu Dana, and
A'Meah Lester.
The Cougars kept things rolling in the second on three-pointers by Heider and Dana for a 50-13 halftime advantage. Scores by Lester, West, and Taylor helped ICC to a 74-27 third quarter advantage as ICC coasted to the win.
Maziah Shelton recoreded a double-double with 15 rebounds and 13 points to lead the attack.
