East Peoria, IL - The #3-ranked Illinois Central College Women's Basketball team (14-1 Overall, 1-0 Region 24) started off 2026 in winning fashion as they rolled to a 111-57 victory over Lewis & Clark (1-13 Overall, 0-1 Region 24) to open Region 24 play on Saturday afternoon at Ramsey Gym. All 11 players saw considerable action as ICC shot 50% from the field and held the Trailblazers to 33%. 

Scoring came from Lily Luczkowiak (career-high 27), Kamryn Heider (20), Addy Engel (14), Ellie VanMeenen (11), and Hannah West (11), while rebounding leaders were Piper Whiteman (career-high 9) and Heider (career-high 8). Heider & VanMeenen each tallied 5 assists. 

The opening quarter was a high-scoring affair, as ICC led 36-18 with Heider and Luczkowiak each pouring in 12 points apiece. Halftime saw the Cougars with a 63-27 advantage.
