East Peoria, Ill. - The Illinois Central College softball program hosted their annual elementary camp at Thome Softball Field and the CougarPlex on July 14-16.

Head coach Heather Doty and staff welcomed 99 campers in grades 4-8 at the evening camp. Players rotated through stations that covered hitting, fielding, outfield/infield work, base running, bunting, throwing, glove work, and game fundamentals. 

Assisting with the camp were assistant coached Kathy Holzhauer, Kayla Ford, and Juell Hodges. Former players helping were Kayleigh Harr, Cassidee Bauer, Kennedy Cleeton, Brittany Miller, Courtney Campbell, Marlee Brown, Zoe Eeton, Bailey Herrick, and Meadow Terry along with current players Sam Verstraete, Ryan Coombs, Danni Neppl, Kaitlyn Atkinson, Abbie Lohman, and Laila Harris. Incoming players Sophia Revallo, Kylea Seidell, Schyer Meinders, Devin Mulikisha, Kinley Yacko, Avery White, Tori Birch, Faithe Sampson, and Cora Ellison also worked the camp.
