Mike Gehringer begins his fifth season at ICC in 2022-23 as Head Athletic Trainer. Gehringer has 15 years experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, including serving in the same position at Dunlap High School and Dundee-Crown High School. He has also been an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Peoria Pirates Arena Football team. Earlier in his career, Gehringer was able to secure an athletic training internship at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
Prior to officially beginning his time as an athletic trainer, he earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University.
Gehringer resides in Washington with his wife, Mary Kay, and their four children - Kayden, Karlee, Kami, and Kage.
