Jayson Alexander begins his sixth year as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team and has made an impact on the team with his vibrant personality and passion for the game. He specializes in individual workouts for all players and works specifically with the guards in practice. This season he is modifying the Cougars' transition offensive scheme as well as adding wrinkles to the half-court offense.
Jayson started his own basketball training business, Smooth Skills Training, in 2019 as he does individual workouts with a variety of basketball players at all ages, both male and female to help them develop their basketball skills and become better players and young people.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Eureka College in May 2018 and is originally from Las Vegas, NV. Jayson currently resides in Dunlap.
