A former ICC student-athlete and recent assistant coach, Tacuma Sadlow was named the head coach of the Cougar men's soccer program, bringing a championship background, collegiate coaching experience, and a deep connection to the ICC soccer tradition.
Sadlow's soccer journey is closely intertwined with Illinois Central College's tradition of success. As a wing back for the Cougars in 2017, he helped lead ICC to a Region 24 Championship and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament.
Following his time at ICC, Sadlow continued his playing career at Western Illinois University, where he was a member of the 2019 Summit League Championship team.
After completing his collegiate playing career, Sadlow transitioned into coaching. He served on the coaching staff at Western Illinois University during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, gaining valuable experience at the NCAA Division I level. In the summer of 2024, he also coached with Junction FC, a pre-professional club focused on player development and advancement.
For the past two seasons, Sadlow has served as an assistant coach for the Cougars, helping guide the team to a Region Championship this past fall.
A proud ICC alumnus, Sadlow earned his Associate's Degree from Illinois Central College in 2018 before completing his Bachelor's Degree at WIU in 2020.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, he holds a B.A. in economics and an MSC in Sport Management.
