Cedar Rapids, Ia. - Seasons ending can be difficult to take in, especially when it was a season such as the one the eighth-ranked ICC Volleyball program (31-14) had this fall. Earlier in the season, Head Coach Tracy Heffren won her 100th career game at the helm in East Peoria. Later in the season, the Cougars took on a hostile road atmosphere against the Heartland Hawks and won in five sets. In a test of a rematch in the postseason, the Cougars bested the Hawks again to win the District Championship. Certainly quite the ride, all things considered.
