Canton, Ill.---The ICC men's basketball team scored a big 66-64 win over Spoon River on Wednesday night in M-WAC action in Mid-America Bank Gym.  The teams were tied 33-all at the half but the Cougars made a few more big plays in the second half to get the hard-fought victory.   The win avenged an 85-76 loss to the Snappers back on January 31 in East Peoria.

Lavell McIntosh led the way with a double-double of 18 points (7-13 field goal shooting) and 13 rebounds, including 8 on the offensive end.

Free throw shooting was key down the stretch as ICC went 18-24 from the charity stripe (75%).  The win moves Tony Wysinger's squad to 9-12 overall and 2-4 in M-WAC play.
