Carterville, Ill.---The ICC baseball team mounted a late-game rally but dropped a 6-5 decision to Kankakee on Thursday afternoon at Volunteer Field in Carterville. The Cougars trailed 4-0 heading into the top of the 7th inning when they responded with three runs and then added two in the top of the 8th to tie the score at 5-all, but the Cavs scored in the bottom of the 8th to get the win.
