Notre Dame, Ind. - The ICC men's golf team would wake up to the iconic imagery of Touchdown Jesus outside their hotel by the campus of the University of Notre Dame. They were in Irish territory for the Saints Classic, hosted by nearby Holy Cross College, taking place at the Irish's Warren Golf Course. As picturesque as the images around them may have been, the weather conditions were not entirely welcoming. On day one of the tournament on Monday, temperatures were in the lower 50's and winds were gusting from 15-25 miles per hour. One day two - how about upper 30s for the real feel temperature. Despite all those conditions, ICC was in second place after the first day, and would settle for fifth by tournament's end. That included
Peyton Woods medaling yet again, breaking 70 in the second round as well.

HE SAID IT - FINAL FALL THOUGHTS FROM COACH SEAN KENNEDY
"Disappointed we did not perform better as a team today (Tuesday), but certainly demonstrated that we could play at that level. Terrific tournament experience playing the Notre Dame Warren Course. Eager to return next year and try to climb that leaderboard. Players are going to take a well-deserved break. Eager to get off-season strength and conditioning underway."
