Cedar Rapids, IA - Motivation can be a powerful thing. The seventh-ranked ICC volleyball team (32-10), seeded eighth going into the National Tournament, drew a stout competitor in ninth-seeded Richard Bland, last year's National Champion. Alas, there will be a new champion here in 2023, as ICC won set one convincingly, dropped a close second set, won the third set by a 14-point margin, and closed it out with a 28-26 fourth-set thriller to move onto the Elite 8, where they will await their National Quarterfinal opponent. The opposing match between #1 Cowley and #17 North Dakota SCS does not start until 5:30PM on Wednesday.
