Champaign, IL - The Illinois Central College volleyball team played in the District "Central B" Tournament on Saturday. They advanced to the District Championship game after defeating St. Louis Community College 3-0 in the District Semifinal, going 25-15, 25-16, and 25-18. The Cougars then lost in three sets to Parkland College in the Championship game, 16-25, 12-25, and 22-25. This makes their overall record 24-15.
The Cougars now play the waiting game as they won't find out until Wednesday at 2pm CST on the NJCAA Network if they will receive one of the four at-large bids to play in the National Tournament.
