East Peoria, IL - The Illinois Central College Volleyball team (30-13) eagerly awaited their Nationals fate on Wednesday afternoon. After sweeping Rend Lake and #4 Heartland to win the District "Central B" Championship, the next step was sitting through the Selection Show to see how the Cougars lined up. ICC was given the eighth seed, and is one of three Region 24 teams at the National Tournament, joining Parkland (seeded 2nd) and Heartland (seeded 5th). The eighth seed pairs the Cougars with nine seed Pensacola State, a (20-8) Pirates team from Region 8.
