Normal, Ill. - All good things must come to an end. Unfortunately for the Illinois Central College baseball team (26-35), the end point of the 2024 season came on Friday night. The Cougars were able to defeat the East Central Missouri Falcons 4-2 to stave off elimination, but were unable to get past District hosts Heartland in an elimination game, falling by a 18-7 final score.
