East Peoria, Ill. - The Illinois Central College softball team continued their fall schedule with a doubleheader against a familiar opponent, taking on Region 24 foe Spoon River on Wednesday night at Thome Field.  The Cougars pounded out eleven hits in the opener, including a home run by Emily Compton.  Broghan Hall and Bailey Herrick combined for five strikeouts in the circle.

In the nightcap, Kayleigh Harr hit a home run and Kelsey Bartels had a triple while Compton had two RBI.  Compton and Marlee Brown each pitched four innings, combining for nine strikeouts.
