Ottumwa, IA - The Illinois Central College softball team traveled to Indian Hills CC where they took on Hawkeye and host IHCC on Friday in exhibition action.

Coach Heather Doty was pleased with the Cougars' effort saying, "We made adjustments today that helped put our pitchers in a great position in the circle. Offensively, we put the ball in play from top to bottom of the lineup; hitters came through when we needed it. Catchers had a great mix behind the plate and kept hitters off balance. Our aggressiveness on the bases kept us in scoring position and put pressure on the defense."
