East Peoria, Ill. - The Illinois Central College men's basketball team got another home win over St. Ambrose University JV 96-73 on Friday. The win advances the Cougars to 4-0 on the season. 

The Cougars had half of their points come off the bench, with Anthony Moore leading the team in points (14), rebounds (12), and blocks (4). Rickey Coleman and Jaylen McElmurry, also off the bench, had 13 and 10 points respectively. Jaylen Brown and Javaughn Robinson both had 12 points to lead the starters on the night along with Peyton Hess who had 11 points. 

St. Ambrose JV kept it close in the first period, but only leading at most by 2 points. The halftime score showed 39-36 ICC, as the Cougars only led by 3 points. The men showed resilience in the 2nd period, scoring 57 points to take the win over St. Ambrose JV 96-73. 

The Cougars will head to Malta, IL on Tuesday to play Kishwaukee.
