Columbus, GA - The Illinois Central College Softball team continued its out-of-state start to the 2025 season by getting their participation in the NFCA Leadoff Classic underway on Friday afternoon. It was quite the stout start, with #9 Des Moines Area and #4 Jones looming in the other dugout. Unfortunately, the Cougars were unable to get the bats going and dropped both games, losing to the #9 Bears 10-1 in five innings and the #4 Bobcats 6-1.
