Carterville, IL - The Illinois Central College Baseball team (0-8) made the long trip down to Volunteer Field to take on the D1 #23 John A. Logan Volunteers on Sunday afternoon for a doubleheader. After starting the opening game up 4-0 after just half an inning, the Cougars were out-scored 12-4 the rest of the way, including 11 of those runs being unanswered, as part of a 12-8 Volunteer win. In the finale for the day, John A. Logan saw improved pitching and defense, limiting ICC to no runs and just two hits in a 3-0 Volunteer victory.
