Andrea Rudolphi's 12 kills led the #10 Illinois Central College volleyball team to their first Region 24 victory of the season as the Cougars defeated Danville 26-24, 25-16, and 25-22 at Mary Miller Gymansium on Wednesday night. Setters Allison de Freese (20 assists) and
Ellie Dallas (14) fed the Cougar attack to help get the win.
Whitney Rumbold led ICC with 18 digs.
With the win, the Cougars improved to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in Region 24. They will now head to the prestigious Kirkwood Tournament this weekend in Cedar Rapids where they will play four games, including the host Eagles (who are ranked 4th in the nation) on Friday and #11 Sauk Valley on Saturday.
