Godfrey, Ill. - The Illinois Central College women's soccer team's season ended in heartbreaking fashion to Southwestern Illinois as they tied 2-2 in regulation but lost 3-2 in penalty kicks to close out the 2026 season.

The Cougars and the Blue Storm had split their regular season meetings so the dramatic ending was not a surprise.

Tori Morin scored on an assist by Orlaith Dorrian and Maja Kern booted an unassisted goal for the Cougars.

ICC finishes the season with a 7-9-1 record.
