East Peoria, IL - The Illinois Central College baseball team swept Lewis and Clark Community College on Saturday, winning game one, 12-11, and game two, 18-4. This was the first of two doubleheaders against Lewis & Clark that ICC will play this weekend. The wins take the Cougars to 11-18 on the season, and 11-3 in conference play.

ICC started game one down 6 by the 4th inning, and made their way back in the 8th and 9th innings, tying the game up at 9 to force a 10th inning. Down 11-10 in the 10th, Ashton Corley homered to left field, scoring two runs, and winning game one with the walk-off. ICC had 5 home runs in the game by Kyle Miller (2), Aidan Fulton (1), Jordan Heider (1), and Ashton Corley (1). 

ICC dominated game two from the start, earning 10 runs in the 1st inning, and not looking back. Micah McCoy hit two home runs in the win, with 7 RBIs, leading the Cougars to the 18-4 win. 

The Cougars will head to Lewis & Clark for a second doubleheader on Sunday at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
