East Peoria, IL - The Illinois Central College baseball team lost three out of four games across two doubleheaders against State Fair Community College on Friday and Saturday. ICC won the first game on Friday, 14-4, and lost the second, 4-11. ICC suffered two losses on Saturday, losing game one, 3-4, and game two, 4-8. The Cougars are now 16-24 overall. 

Game one on Friday was highlighted for the Cougars by Ben Lapp's two doubles and 3 RBIs, and Jordan Heider's triple. Ryan Brucker also had a double in the game. Eli Wang got the win for ICC, pitching four innings, with 2 strikeouts, and giving up 5 hits and 4 runs. Brady Hart had 1 double and 2 RBIs in Friday's loss. 

ICC started up 1-0 in game one on Saturday, holding onto that lead until the 5th inning. State Fair then scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th, and ICC matched those runs in the bottom of the 5th, making it 3-2. State Fair then scored 1 in the top of the 6th and 2 in the top of the 7th. ICC couldn't send in another run, ending the game at 3-4. Micah McCoy, Jake Morrill, and Ryan Brucker each hit a double in the loss. 

Game two on Saturday started off with a 6-0 lead by State Fair. ICC scored all 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th, but wasn't able to complete the comeback, losing 4-8. John Higgins recorded 1 double in the game.  

ICC will play next in a doubleheader against Madison at home on Sunday, April 12, at 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
