Springfield, IL - The Illinois Central College baseball team split another doubleheader with Lincoln Land Community College on Tuesday, winning game one, 7-0, and losing game two, 7-15. The Cougars are now 15-21 overall and 15-5 in conference play. 

Game one featured a home run by Kyle Miller, and a double by Jordan Heider. Brady Bolen got the win, pitching all 7 innings, giving up only 3 hits, and no runs, along with 5 strikeouts on the day. 

Game two started off with Lincoln Land up 4-0 after two innings. But ICC made their way back to tie the game at 4 by the top of the fourth inning. The Cougars then gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the fourth, but they got it back to 7-9 by the top of the sixth. ICC wouldn't score again, and with a solid seventh and eighth inning appearances from Lincoln Land, they took home the win, 15-7. 

The Cougars will play next at Illinois Wesleyan JV on Thursday, April 9, at 5:00 pm.
