East Peoria, Ill. – Connor Watson, a freshman on the Illinois Central College men's golf team, was named a 2nd Team NJCAA All-American as announced by the NJCAA recently. 

Watson finished in 10th place individually overall at Nationals to earn the honors.

As a team, the Cougars finished in 11th place in the Nation; they also won seven tourney titles this season and led all NJCAA DII programs in wins (according to Scoreboard) with a 124-26-1 record. 

Watson is ICC's single round scoring record holder with a 63, which he shot at the Warrior 36 on September 16, 2025. 

Nathan is a graduate of East Peoria High School and is studying accounting. He is the son of Nathan & Stacey Watson.
