The ICC women's soccer team went toe-to-toe with Indian Hills CC but dropped a 2-0 decision in a Wednesday matinee at CougarPlex Field. The Warriors, ranked #6 in this week's NJCAA DI national poll moved their record to 14-0 this season, while the Cougars fall fell to 7-4.
Despite the loss, ICC can take confidence that they held IHCC to their lowest score of the season. The Warriors, who average 7 goals per game, held a narrow 1-0 lead at the half before scoring an insurance goal in the second half.
Next up: The Cougars will be home again on Saturday, October as they host Iowa Western CC at 11:00 am.
